This car is a precursor of the original Škoda Felicia, probably the most beautiful and most popular post-war vehicle of this marque. Škoda 450 differed from the Škoda Felicia in small details, primarily by a leaf sprung front axle. The Škoda 450 was produced by the factory in Kvasiny, they were based on the types Škoda 440 "Spartak" and Škoda 445 Octavia. The Škoda 450 had 1 010 pieces produced between 1957 – 1959; the production had starting during 1958 when the car was introduced to the public as the Škoda 440 roadster. Škoda Felicia was then later produced until 1964 and 14 863 pieces left the production lines. Nowadays, there are still over 2000 pieces of Škoda 450 and Škoda Felicia registered, quite a few of those with a foreign plates that can be seen on rallies.
