Lamp FAIL

Is possible to activate the LAMP FAIL on the TACHO so that when a bulb is broken an information will appear on the tacho ??

I don't remember to see it and I don't think this function exists on our cars.

The right answer is NO. But in our Tacho is present a wire in the BLUE connector that is named BULB/LAMP FAIL.

In some Tacho with HALF-FIS is present an hidden icon that represent a crossed bulb.

I think that this information can come to the tacho cia 2 different ways:

1) is from the Electronic Switch ECU (addr.09) that in out Passat doesn't exists
2) Fron that wire that I have descrbed before.

I think that activatic this feature simply driving this wire (solution2) something will happen.
The problem is "only" detect the broken bulb.

I know that in GOLFIV if ALL the TWO STOPS are broken, the candle yellow icon (normally used to indicate the warm circuit ON for diesel) will flash. So I think that this circuit is present somewhere ....

What about ?
